Peg Bothner Bookmark Contest

It is once again time for our annual Peg Bothner Bookmark Contest sponsored by the Friends of the Olean Library! This
year we received 1,208 entries, submitted from five local schools: Allegany-Limestone Elementary School, East View Elementary
School, Olean Intermediate Middle School, Portville Central School, and Washington West Elementary School.

Judges Gay Fish, Betsy Matz, Helen Ruggieri, Amy Windus, Betsy Price, Sheila Taylor, and Diane Ksionzyk chose one winner from each school, with the exception of Olean Intermediate Middle School, which has two winners. The public is invited to view all entries in the Art Gallery through the month of May.

Two awards ceremonies will run on May 4, 2024:
11 am: Eastview Elementary, Washington West Elementary, Olean Intermediate Middle School winners
1 pm: Allegany-Limestone Elementary School; Portville Central School winners
