The Olean Public Library Gallery has provided an exhibition venue for New York State artists since 1974, giving artists exposure and exhibiting experience and providing Greater Olean Area residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy the work of contemporary visual artists.This Month in the Gallery:
Gallery Exhibit: June 2024
The Best of the Olean City School District Student Art Show
Visit the Olean Public Library’s gallery in June to see some of the best art created by students enrolled in the Olean City School District. Artists are students at East View Elementary, Washington West Elementary,
Olean Intermediate Middle School, or Olean High Schools. An opening reception will be held in honor of our exhibiting students on June 11, 2024 from 5-6 pm. Light refreshments and drinks like coffee and punch will be served.
Interested in showcasing your art in our gallery? Contact the library by phone or by emailing programming@oleanlibrary.org to learn more. Please remember: artwork must be appropriate for a general library audience (i.e.: suitable if children see), and you must be able to fill the entire gallery with your pieces. Any 2D medium is welcome!
